About the Floorcloths
All my floorcloths have 2 coats of base color on top and 1 or 2 coats of base color underneath. I apply 5 coats of varnish to the top of the floorcloth, and one coat of varnish underneath. I use flexible varnish so the floorcloths will not crack. They will last for years. They can be easily cleaned with detergent and a damp cloth. I am always happy to do a custom order for color and size.~Nancy
All floorcloths are 24"x35" unless otherwise noted. Colors on website are not always exact with actual colors of the floorcloths.

Tole Inspired Designs
This series of floorcloths were inspired by the beautiful tolework found on trays, boxes, and furniture during the 1800s and into the 1900s. The floorcloths were done using both stenciling and brush-stroke painting and are quite detailed. Several stencils are used for each floorcloth.
The base colors are black, dark green, and red. Iridescent gold, copper, pewter, bronze, silver, and red were used to more closely replicate the original designs.

Weathervane Designs
